Community Involvement

Our work in Milton would not be possible without the support of the local community, including volunteers, donors, partners, and community organizations.

There are many ways to get involved.  Whether it is by participating in a food drive, raising money, or donating your time, each of these activities plays an important role in The Salvation Army's charitable work in Milton.

The Salvation Army - Christmas Kettle Campaign

Each year, our Kettle campaign helps raise vital funds to support Milton families through our Food Bank and Community Services programs.  All of the funds raised in Milton as part of the kettle campaign stay in the local community to support Khi Community's food bank and family services.

Last year, thanks to the generosity of volunteers and donors, we raised over $168,000, directly helping 4,045 residents in need.

The campaign typically runs over 5 weeks in late November through December and requires hundreds of volunteers to make it a success. We hope you'll consider volunteering in the 2026 campaign!

  • Our annual Kettle Campaign raises about 50% of our Community & Family Services annual expenses.
